T- takes photographs. A kitchen injury earlier in his life left him with burn scars on his face. A kid named Ryan is the ring leader of a group. He's smooth, an excellent student, a golden child - or at least seemed that way to adults. But he's a dangerous, violent, bully. He frames T- for wrong doings. T- spends some time with a homeless woman named Lucy of whom he takes a lot of pictures. When he captures Ryan and his group harassing and hurting her, the stakes get much higher and T-'s best friend takes some collateral damage. T- feels trapped and doesn't trust anyone with the truth. T- is a boy with scars and a camera. This journey takes you through the life of a boy who must deal with "blame" (whose), friendship and what it means, (how far you will go to protect it), bullying (joined at the hip) and conscience, ( what is the right thing to do). T- snaps pictures that tell a story, one day the story that is captured is so horrendous he must choose what which path to take from that point on, because his life is hanging on a thread. Making the wrong decision could cost him dearly ( )

T-- is a young man with scars and a camera. He captures items abandoned on the sidewalk, his neighbor drawing chalk art outside, and his friend Lucy, a homeless woman with funny signs. (Example: "Need $$ for condo fees.") He is relentlessly bullied by Joined-at-the-Hip, a set of boys who seem to travel in a pack. When T-- catches something on his camera, the story becomes fraught with should he/shouldn't he questions. Lots to discuss in a classroom setting. ( )
