Great book to read to students before they visit the zoo or before they go on a field trip for the first time. The book describes funny scenarios that occur while the students are on the field trip, and what the teacher does to resolve the delimas. ( ) In my opinion, this was a very relatable book for students because every student loved going on a field trip, especially to the zoo. Every student hates filling out a worksheet when they go on a field trip and throughout the book, the teacher realizes that. She tells the students to put their papers away and they will write later. All the kids jump for joy like any student would do. The illustrations were very busy and had a lot of detail. They were full of color and took up most of the page. The language throughout the story was easy to read and flowed. The story plot was relatable and some of the events that happened to the students were ones they are familiar with. For example, most of them have heard of someone getting pooped on by a bird. The characters in the story are ones that a student might have in their own classroom. There is the class clown in every illustration doing something goofy, the student who always has good things happen to them, and the students who always get hurt when they go on a field trip. If the readers pays close attention to the teacher’s tips noted in each corner of the pages, the students will realize this is not her first rodeo. She has learned through experience what to bring with her on a field trip. If a student every wondered what a teacher carries in a bag on a field trip, they could make the connection that these are some of the items. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
