Very quick read. The subject matter was totally alien to me as I've never seen nor been interested in anything related to Lon Chaney, but it seemed humorous and heartwarming and well-written. I say, if you're considering reading it or suggesting it to your nephew (for example), get a copy from the library. You might love it enough to buy it if you are a fan of those old movie monsters. A man came to him and thanked him for doing what he was doing because he brought out something that was inside him. Mr. Shadows "died" a while ago and the boy bought him back. ( )
