Very interesting on the trade union years and Bevin's absolute pursuit of unity and maintaining unity. Such an important worker leader. Astonishing performance during the war as Minister of Labour. The author makes the case for his years as foreign minister being his crowning achievement - but I found the last 250 pages tedious. Large number of typographical errors.
