Sobo (Sophisticated Bohemian) started out in 2003 as a purple food truck in the parking lot behind a surf shop, way before food trucks were cool. Despite its remoteness, it attracted rave reviews from food media across North America. Sobo has since become a destination restaurant, having outgrown its food truck beginnings. The recipes in this book are shaped by Lisa's Tex Mex and Southwestern culinary roots, and her experience gained across several US states, including her stint as executive chef of Cibolo Creek Ranch in Texas. The Not So Good Stuff
Yeah not the best ccokbook for Calgary, Alberta, as many of the ingredients are expensive and hard to find
Probably would be better suited for intermediate to expert cooks. I mean there are plenty of recipes for a beginner cook like me, but many of the recipes involve a lot of steps and take a long time. Again this is not a bad thing, just a heads up
I want Salmon - do you know how expensive it is in Calgary & not to mention, just not as fresh - when we go to B.C. this summer I am going to live on seafood!
