Hilda never gave up her passion of dancing even though the others complained about it. She finally found a way where she can dance without anyone complaining was in the water. The illustration was so bright and big the children would enjoy it. I think the meaning behind this story is never give up your passion even thought no one likes it. Hilda Must Be Dancing tells the tale of a hippo who adores dancing but her friends think she should take up a new hobby because she is so loud. After several failed suggestions Hilda finds a way to stay true to herself but also please her friends, with water ballet! I loved this book because of its great cartoon like illustrations, use of onomatopoeia, and topic of dance. I would use this in my teaching to discuss the topic of being yourself. This book is suited for Grades PreK-3 and fits the theme of staying true to who you are and what you love to do. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

None of her jungle friends can find Hilda Hippo a quieter, less disruptive replacement for dancing, her favorite hobby, until Water Buffalo suggests an activity that allows Hilda to express her dance creativity in a new way. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
