David says that the Great Gatsby should be required reading for everyone who is a youth and lives in the inner city. I would require every youth who lives in the inner city to read this book. He takes the craft of poetry, adds his own personal life story and comes out with some gems that helped me through a tough time. I want to give this book to everyone I know and tell them this book will not scare you away from poetry, it will draw you back in. It is true what was once said in "Wishbone" Poetry is food for the soul. This book is the real deal. ( )
