Themes: Hi-Lo, urban nonfiction, music, entrepreneur, Hip-Hop, celebrities, biographies. Drake stands out among hip-hop stars. The Jewish Canadian actor has never struggled with drugs or poverty. Critics question his authenticity. Yet Drake has a great attitude. He says, "At the end of the day, I consider myself a black man because I'm more immersed in black culture than any other. Being Jewish is kind of a cool twist. It makes me unique." There's no doubt about it, today's students listen to an average of 2.5 hours of music every day. Guess what they are listening to? Hip-hop is mainstream, continually topping Billboard's Hot 100 charts. These Hi-Lo biographies engage striving readers from the very beginning with blinged-out covers, stunning four-color photographs, modern and graphic page design, and high-interest informational text. Biographies highlight the unique characteristics of each mega-rapper, including childhood struggles, personal style, rivalries, giving back, and more. Each 48-page book includes a timeline and glossary, with vocabulary words highlighted throughout. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

"I'm so, I'm so, I'm so proud of you!" Drake sung as his fans screamed to the top of there lungs. I think Drakehad an interesting life. Drake would always put out great mix tapes, and albums. He was always judged on his apperence, and his features. They made his life a living hell. I feel like the crowd motivated him, because he kept pushing to be the number one.
Drake would also put time aside for his ill mom. His mom would always have a struggle with her health. I think Drake, additude. He didn't give up on his music career, and she didn't give up on her life or health.
In conclusion, Drake has finally made it to the top. He had passion, hard work, and determination to get him through the obstacles. I think Drake is just getting started on his long journey of success. I recommend, this book to young, gangster rappers. I say that, because Drake always came up with his own style. Other people needed to learn that too. Saddle back did an amazing job publishing this book, because it will help other young folks.
