Easton Crawford put his modeling career and good looks before his marriage until it was over. Years later, he is finally learning how to be the father his daughter needed him to be. He’s not looking for a new mom for his daughter—just nightly casual hook-ups. When Brooke’s best friend, Nicole, gives her a gift of going on a cruise without telling her that it’s a single’s cruise, will Brooke find someone willing to be her constant and finally leave Jared?

Brooke and Easton learn that people are brought into their lives for many reasons. Over time, they find out what those reasons are. Some are to be a temporary acquaintance while others are there for life.

What will Easton do when he meets Brooke and realizes that she is someone that is meant to be in his life forever, especially after Brooke has an unexpected surgery and Easton is scared of losing her forever?

Brooke was only looking to relax and get a tan. Her best friend Nicole had given her a ticket to a cruise to Mexico for her Birthday and they were both going to spend quality time together. Little did they know they would bump into Easton and Avery changing their lives.

What appears to be a friendship in the works is a roaring fire of emotions under the surface. Easton is a player. After the debacle of his first marriage, all he wants is to be a good father to his daughter and continue messing around with chicks discreetly. Brooke just blows his mind. She is sweet and lovable. Every time Easton sees her, he knows deep down this is the woman to spend forever with.

Our author weaves a delightful story of their experiences during this cruise. Throw in that their best friends (Nicole and Avery) have fallen head over heels for each other, and the result is musical beds and sticky situations.

Not everything is a fairy tale. The story deals with serious matters as the reality of coming back to everyday routines, health issues and work have to be dealt with. All this while our characters attempt a long distance relationship. Grief, life obstacles and mortality, deal our couples a dose of reality that will make us all rethink and solidify our sense of values.

This is a heartfelt story of love and survival; disillusionment and hope; and most of all it is a love story that will grip your heart.

This is a freaking "knock it out of the ballpark" hit!! I absolutelty loved Easton and Brooke's story! They are both very strong characters, and have overcome some serious crap in their past. Definitely a book that tugs on your heartstrings and shows what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. If it hadn't been for that pesky thing called sleep, I would have read it in one sitting. I can't wait for Avery and Nicole's story, but more so, I can't wait for more Brooke and Easton!! ( )
