John Lincoln wakes up one morning to realize he's stolen an aboriginal mask from a museum and killed someone. It's the mask that does it, it takes him under and when he wakes he finds out he's wreaked vengeance on behalf of someone whose memories and skills he now possesses. I really thought I was going to like this, but no. There was a lot of killing--in a white suit, better to show the blood spatter--but not a lot of thinking. Nothing explained why this was happening. John just went from event to event and we'd see the aftermath of his killing sprees but we'd never really how the mask worked or why this was happening to John.
