He's addicted to booze. She's addicted to sex. Staying sober is only half the battle. No. More. Sex. Those are the three words Lily Calloway fears the most. But Loren Hale is determined to be with Lily without enabling her dangerous compulsions. With their new living situation - sleeping in the same bed, for real, together - Lily has new battles. Like not jumping Lo's bones every night. Not being consumed by sex and his body. Loren plans to stay sober, to right all of his wrongs. So when someone threatens to expose Lily's secret to her family and the public, he promises that he'll do anything to protect her. But with old enemies surfacing, Lo has more at stake than his sobriety. And his worst fear isn't relapsing. He hears the end. He sees it. The one thing that could change everything. Just three words. “Because I think she loves you more than she loves sex. And you love her more than you love alcohol, but you two just haven’t let yourselves believe it yet.”
― Krista Ritchie, Addicted for Now

I try to express only my most honest opinion in a spoiler free way. If you feel anything in my review is a spoiler and is not already hidden in spoiler brackets please let me know. Thank you.
Lo is back from rehab, and despite how hard its been, Lily has managed not to cheat on Loren Hale. Now as Lo and Lily struggle to get and keep there addictions under control. I threat has surfaced. Someone hates Lo and is willing to ruin Lily's life by exposing her addiction to the world just to get at and hurt Loren. So now Loren turns to both his friend Conner and his father for help to find him before he sets off Lily's worse nightmare.

I loved this book so much. All the characters are so real and I just can't help but love them all. I now have to backtrack to the book that takes place between this one and the first one cause a lot happened that confused me at times. So if you are considering skipping the spinoff series. I highly suggest you don't. That was my plan and I now regret. The only real down side to this series is that I can't get it from my library or from KU. So I am buying the books to read them. I know good news for the authors and I'm happy I am contributing as I am loving there reading. Bad news for me because I don't have much spare money to go to books so I can only buy one every once in a while so it will be a slow series read for me. Highly recommend this series, but adult only please as there is a lot of sexual content that is not suitable for anyone under 18.
How I choose my rating:
1* Did not finish, or hated it but forced myself to finish.
2** Didn't really like it. Didn't hate it but not sure why I finished it other then for some closure.
3*** I liked it. I had some issues with it, but as a whole it was good. I probably won't reread again ever, but there is a chance I might finish the series. (If part of one) But if not it's not a huge loss.
4**** I really liked this book. Maybe not a work of genius, but highly entertaining. I might reread this again, and I will finish the series. (If part of one) I would recommend to those I know hold interest in this books content.
5***** I loved this book. I found little to no issues with it at all. I will definitely be rereading this and probably more than once. I will finish the series and reread it multiple times. (If part of one) I will recommend this book to EVERYONE!!!!

When we last saw Lily and Lo in Ricochet, Lo was back from rehab and 90 days sober, with a brand new outlook on life. Lily was regularly going to therapy and proudly 90 days celibate. In Addicted for Now, Lily and Lo must come to terms with living in the real world. Lo has access to alcohol again. Lily has to deal with sleeping next to her boyfriend without giving in to her compulsions. Staying sober was easier without access to alcohol. Staying celibate was easier without sharing a room. But both Lily and Lo are determined to make it work.

Of the three Addicted novels I've read so far, Addicted for Now is by far my favorite. I think that's because instead of being about their addictions tearing them apart, this book focuses much more on their recovery, on finding healthy ways to deal with their triggers and focus their energy on more positive things. It also builds the relationships a lot more, particularly the relationship between Lily and her sisters.

Of course, no book is complete without some serious drama, so Lily has to deal with someone threatening to out her secret -- to release to the press that the heiress to Fizzle is not just a sex addict, but one who's gone so far as to hire male prostitutes. Knowing that the news would cause Fizzle stock to plummet, not to mention make their already strained relationship with her parents worse, Lily withdraws more and more into herself, becoming afraid to even step out of the house. The news hits Lo hard as well, since he knows that Lily has made significant progress, but still isn't ready to reveal her secret. Lily worries that the stress will drive Lo to the nearest bar. And when the leak is revealed... I was both shocked and not at all surprised.

I need to catch up on my recent Netgalley approvals, but then I'll be diving headfirst into Rose and Connor's story. I can't wait.

If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would! Out of all the Addicted books this one has been my favorite by far.

Lo is out of rehab and him and Lily are trying to find a way to make their relationship work without their addictions coming between them. I was so glad to see that their addictions weren't swept under the rug. We get to see a whole different side of Lo and I have to say I love it. I love him, even more than before. A sober Lo is so much better than a drunk Lo. He is still himself but in better control. I was really glad to see how much he has grown.

Lily's addiction is no joke and in this book we see just how much it consumes her. I am so glad she has grown too. She is taking control of her life again, but it's not easy. Her struggles in this book feel so real and authentic and her and Lo's pain in this book became mine.

My favorite supporting characters were back in this installment and showed me once again why I love them all. In fact I fell more in love with them. The unconditional love between this family and group of friends is just beautiful and fierce. I loved seeing them all grow together and individually as well. I am pretty sure I am addicted to this series.

This series has become one of my favorites. You don't want to miss ANY of the books in this series. They are all important. But this one feels more real than the others. ( )

Seldom do I become so intimately involved with a story. This one hit deep. I will warn you... the angst level in this story is extreme. These two lovers go through hell and back to beat their addictions. It is raw but tastefully written. This is literature at its best. You will find yourself deeply involved with these characters. The writing is real. I have no idea if this book was based on real life, but the writing style makes these characters so real you will be deeply engrossed in the outcome of their journey.

I strongly recommend you read Addicted to You and Ricochet before reading this book so your reading experience will be complete. The authors will continue writing more in this series highlighting the lives of the other characters intertwined in this story. Look for more in this series in 2014. ( )
