Includes "The Story of the Man with the Watches," not technically a Sherlock Holmes story but it does have gay content (kinda). ( ) I loved Sherlock Holmes back in high school, and these 11 stories are still good today: The Adventure of Wisteria Lodge, The Adventure of the Bruce-Partingon Plans, The Adventure of the Devil's Foot, The Adventure of the Red Circle, The Disappearance of Lady Frances Carfax, The adventure of the Dying Detective, His Last Bow, The Story of the Man with the Watches, The Story of the Lost Special, The Field Bazaar, and How Watson Learned the Trick. The first eight of the stories collected in "The Further adventures of Sherlock Holmes" are from Doyle's later writings; published between 1908 and 1917. "The Story of the Man with the Watches" and "The Story of the Lost Special" are mysteries that do not name Holmes as the detective. They were written during that 10 year period when Doyle had thought to stop writing about Holmes permanently. The last two stories - "The Field Bazaar" (1896) and 'How Watson Learned the Trick" (1924) are parodies in which the creator of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson was having a bit of fun with his two most famous characters. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
