Cargando... Beginning Pearlspor Stephan Pastis
![]() Ninguno Actualmente no hay Conversaciones sobre este libro. I'm such a great fan of the comic strip Pearls Before Swine that Stephan Pastis can do no wrong in any of his work. However...I miss those terrific and complicated puns that abound in his present-day strips that I read in The Washington Post. This book is a good "Beginning Pearls", but I want just a tad more! I do know that this book was written for a younger audience, but still... If you don't know rat, pig, goat, zebra, or the crocs, then this is the book to introduce you to them. I especially love that Pastis was once a lawyer. I have a daughter who is a good artist and who's just about to graduate from law school. I'll have to follow her career (law or art?) as I also continue to read Pastis' fun books and follow his newspaper comic strips. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

The lastest is great! Each chapter introduces you to the cast of characters (Rat, Pig, Goat, Zebra and Crocs). With a bit of background, you're off to enjoy selections of strips & story lines.
I have a family of five who read and enjoy PBS on a daily basis, so requesting this from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review was a no-brainer!
(A word to the novice Pearls Before Swine reader, read the crocs' lines out loud and phonetically.) (
