It took me a long time to read this. It was too easy to put it down for any reason. I did like the story but didn't love it. I won't read any of the next ones. Resolving an 8 year misunderstanding between 2 people who supposedly are meant for each other (as stated often) just didn't flow well for some reason. I think all of her trust issues ruined the book which really didn't have much of a plot. Jude was a great character....and hottie! ( )

Ahh, I love me some rocker romance! This was a pretty good one, and Jude was smokin' hot! Though there was the obligatory 'oh shit' misunderstanding moment, it wasn't too terribly angsty, so it's all good. All in all... I'm a fan. ( )

This was an enjoyable read- easy and quick.
general thoughts
1) both Lexi and Jude were their own worst enemies
2) they broke up 8 years earlier over a mistake and never discussed it back then - hum they must not have really loved each other then
3) they get back together after 8 years both still in love with the other and they still don't want to discuss what happened in the past - yes Jude tried but Lexi wouln't have it... bad choice
4) the book could have had more character development, what little we learned about our H/H was good but there was space for so much more - we could have had a few less sex scenes and more plot/character development
5) the book ended up getting tied to the sexual encounters - the issues between the couple were masked with great sex, there was very little character growth or development. our couple was still as insecure as they were when the book started
6) many lines or statements became redundant after a while - Like Jude always asking if Lexi was OK
7) the characters never really got over their insecurities.
8) not much band time
9) glossed over the difficulties a couple would have if one of them is really famous.
10) sex scenes seemed to all be the same in the end only the location was changed
11) the final confilct was resolved to easily and "marraige" is not the answer to this couples issues.

like I said it was a fun read but not enough to make me want to continue with the series ( )

After 8 years of having nothing to do with each other Lexi's world is turned upside down the day Jude walks into Java and Sweeties.
"...You know the guy I told you about? The guy I said I lost myself in? The guy who broke me...well...there you go. That's him. It was Jude..."
As the story plays out Jude and Lexi both realize that there is something still between them. They want to spend time together and see where it goes.
"... I know what I want. I want to see what's here. I want to be with you. I want to see if this time we can make it work..."
Move over Kellen Kyle, Jake Wethers, and Chris Knight, there is a new sexy bad boy rocker around. You also get introduced to s lot of other incredible, loving, and funny characters. Erik, Lexi's gorgeous an dc gay best friend and business partner. One of my favorite characters, Bradi, is Lexi's female best friend who gives feisty a new meaning. And then you meet the rest of the band as well.
Skye Turner, you truly know how to tell a very sexy and amazing story and you nailed the sexy bad boy rocker in Jude. I absolutely loved this book and can not wait to get my hands on the next. I gladly give this book a Nerd Alert A or 5 stars!! ( )

Loved this rock star first love story of Jude and Lexie. True love can withstand all. I look forward to the next book coming in the spring of 2014. ( )
