Clare is a single mother of a sweet 4 year old whose husband tragically passed away. Logan is a recent divorcee. I feel like this book stood out to me because it wasn’t full of drama and stupid characters. They were both mature and could communicate. Logan is a doctor in the local hospital and took care of Clare’s 4 year old. I love when books have different POV which this book did. I love seeing the story unfold from each person’s perspectives. Neither one of them is looking for any type of relationship when they run into each other. When it’s love there isn’t much you can do to run and hide no matter how hard you try. This is a great “second chance” novel. My favorite line in the whole book, “ my heart still ached for him and I missed him every day, but Logan helped me heal and I felt my wounds closing tighter the longer he was around" ( )

I loved this book so much. I haven't read many books about widows finding love, and this one was perfect.

Clare was a great character. She tries to keep herself from having feelings for Logan, but finds that it's really hard. She feels like she's betraying her late husband's memory, and doesn't know how she'll manage new love with a child.

I fear I will give away too much of the story to write an honest review. This book had me in tears from laughing and crying. Definitely an emotional read, but oh so worth it!!! ( )

I adored this book! Just adored it!

Clare lost the love of her life and is left with a broken heart and a baby to raise. Clare knows that she will never find a love like that again and settles into raising her daughter and resigns that she will be alone forever.

Logan thinks that he will never love. He spends his nights having one night stands, never getting attached and never opening his heart. That is until Clare shows up one night with her sick little girl in his ER. He feels a pull towards her he has never felt before. Clare feels it too, and they begin a dance of will we/won't we, can we/should we.

What I really loved about this book was that there wasn't manufactured drama. It was a real relationship. It wasn't without bumps, but it also wasn't insta-love. It was a sweet love story.

Logan was just...*sigh*. The way he fell in love with Maddie. The way he respected and embraced the memory of Clare's husband. The way he was so determined to make it right and make it forever. It was just...*sigh*

There are some heart wrenching moments. I had a gasp moment and was pretty pissed for a bit, but I got over it :)

Here's where I tell you if you should read the book or not. Yep, you should. Absolutely. It's a great story, the characters are wonderful and it isn't a cliff hanger! Go get it. Get it now!
