Going against my 3 star for short novella's reads here. This was a quick fun humorous, read filled with lots of sexual innuendo. Makayla, is a junior writer for a tabloid magazine, looking for the story that will get her a better job. Jonathan is a handsome, rich business man with a secret, and an ex-girlfriend who can't understand "its over".
The humor and one liner's will have you laughing, and the chemistry between Makayla & Jonathan is building and at some point I expect it to go ballistic.
I'm not as fan of serial stories, but I'm hooked.. I have to see where this goes, so on to part 2 ( )

I found this short story well written and very entertaining. Mak, a journalist was looking for a great story. She would do anything to get the scoop. She vowed to teach Jonathan Devane a lesson that no one throws her aside.

I really enjoyed the writing, but was disappointed with the end. It was very abrupt. A definite cliff hanger. With that being said, I know that book two is completed and will definitely pick it up to read. So if you are like me not a fan of cliff hangers, you may be upset at the end, but I think this was worth a try. This book was received for the purpose of an honest review.

I know it's a serial, but it's just not long enough! :) The teasing flashes of fang, and the scrape of Jonathan Devane's teeth on Makayla's flesh made me almost as eager as she was for more sexytimes to happen. But Vivi Anna didn't disappoint, and there was one very, very hot scene. Well worth the entire book. Whew. (fans self)

Makayla Bradley is a tabloid reporter, tasked with digging up dirt on businessman and playboy Jonathan Devane. In order to get her full story, she goes undercover as Yvette Laurent, a French erotica writer and temptress. She gets into an erotica writers' conference, where Jonathan is the guest speaker, and manages to entice him and embarrass herself (as she's a bit clumsy). I won't say how it ends, but I can't wait to read more of Jonathan & Makayla, and see where this story takes them. ( )
