What annoyed me about these two is that most if their fights/disagreements were misunderstandings that could have been cleared up very easily with a conversation that did not consist of yelling and screaming baseless accusations at the other. They actually gave me a headache. Unlike a lot of the reviews I've read, I actually liked Reece. The 'Show and Tell' chapter explained so much about him. Actions speak louder than words. Unfortunately for him, Zara needed the words. Actually, she didn't. Other people made her think she needed the words. Much of this book involved friends of Zara needing proof that Reece loved her and it made her doubt what she knew in her heart. I would have loved a scene of Zander meeting his idol, Tate. But maybe we'll see that in another book. 4 Stars I liked this one more than the last one in this series. Even though both mc's, Ham and Zara had a couple of TSTL moments, imo. There really is no mystery in this one, but there is plenty of suspense. It is more all romance and both of them dealing with their past and Zara's many problems. Most of which has to do with her parents. Her father is a real 'Nasty Piece of work'. Expect some heart break and some super steamy scenes. These two really Burn up the pages! It was mostly a fun read. Relatively fast paced.... For a KA read 3-1/2 stars. This was a pretty solid Kristen Ashley. I did feel like Ham was a bit of a douche to lead her on for so many years. Still once they got together there wasn't quite enough conflict between the two of them to suit me. Generally the characters in KA's books that I've most enjoyed had a more difficult time coming together. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
