My review:

I always smile when I read books with strong alpha males. They are always so sure that they are in control of their own destiny. Then in sweeps the diminutive heroine and they are on their knees. Karma is a bitch like my friend used to say....

Well this book is exactly that. The big bad alpha man takes one look at her when she had a mini makeover and falls like a ton of bricks. I loved this book. I love strong manly men that knows what they want. Men that are strong and secure enough to handle an equally strong woman.

That’s the first glimpse we get from our 32 year old Hero, Colton Lyon, millionaire motorcycle riding bad boy! Colton has decided he is done wasting his time with dating the wrong girls and has “decided unofficially to hang it up.” Enter, Kat Sloan, she is 18 years old and is running from her home in Arizona following a tragic life altering event. Kat has gone into her head and is hiding away the real her. Their first meeting is nothing more than Colton wondering why his friend would bring “this lamb into the Lyon’s den” She is shy, dresses in ugly baggy clothes, hiding herself away. We watch as the swoon worthy Colton pulls Kat out of her head and she finds her old self. He is smart, funny and snarky, I love it!

Lyon’s crew is hilarious! I found myself laughing out loud so many times. Colton has the best one liners. “F%#king lemon my ass, he’s sold me a thoroughbred disguised as a nag” We get multiple points of views. Colton’s parents Doc and Elena are so damn funny. Doc was taking full advantage of Washington state legalizing pot and was constantly “toking” Elena and her bestie Char were sneaking, Doc’s stash and enjoying themselves a little too much. (Char and Elena hot boxing the sauna after finding Doc’s stash. Talking about Colton and Kat.) Elena-“Get that look off your face heifer, cougar you ain’t” Char- “Hey, I look good, chick” Elena- “Yeah, for a coyote maybe” OMG, those two are hilarious and definitely trouble, in the best possible way!

Colton is over protective, bossy inside the bedroom and out, and over the top generous not only with his money but his love and affection as well. Just the way I like them! Now that I have mentioned the bedroom, holy hotness sex! Kat is one lucky lady! Colton is a dirty talking, ass smacking, go all night type of guy. Yippy!

I don’t know how to categorize this book. It’s not your typical MC romance. Yes, he builds bike and has a crew, but they are not outlaws. It’s not a BDSM romance, though we get some smexy paddling. It is definitely a comedy! It’s all of the above all rolled into one great package!

Lyon’s crew was fast paced; just the right about of bitchy ex drama, nosey in the best of ways mom drama, Kat’s past getting taken care of drama. It was a great, fun read that kept me up all night to finish it! Looking forward to book two.
