Engall is supposed to hit a party and hook up with his longtime crush, Chandler--at least that's what Engall's unlikely guardian angel keeps telling him. But the more Dagiel tries to fix the situation, the weirder it gets. How many do-overs will it take to make Engall's life right?

It's always a good sign when I'm leaking tears but with a big smile on my face!

Oh, and organizing my book shelves is never going to be completed if I keep stopping to read the stories! ( )

This is such an adorable, amazing, and funny story that I don’t even know where to start, or how to tell you about it without giving it all away. Okay. Let me begin by saying that I have a really weak spot for guardian angels who have trouble with their job. Dagiel, who is supposed to help Engall, fulfills that role in spades. The humor inherent in the situation is brilliant to start with, and Dagiel's and Engall's conversations are too funny.

Engall is the proverbial geeky nerd who also happens to be clumsy. His secret crush, Chandler, wonders why, or rather how, Engall even survived as long as he did. Engall knows he is gay, doesn’t dare to come out, and needs a really big reminder about the shortness of life before he will move. Understanding and accepting himself is the first step. It may take him a while, and several twists of fate, but he does get there. Sort of.

Chandler is wonderful and as perfect a man as Engall deserves. I'm not going to say too much about him so I don’t ruin the surprise of the story for you, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you fell a little in love with him by the end.

This is a real fee-good story that is uplifting, easy and fun to read, and has the perfect happy ending – on all levels! If you like angels, especially the ones with a few flaws, if you enjoy a shy man learning to accept himself and become more courageous, and if you're looking for a sweet story that has a sense of humor, give this one a try. I hope you like it as much as I did.
