This bilingual book should be read to very young children just learning how to read. By labeling different objects found throughout a house, the reader can make an easier connection between the two and is more likely to remember how to say the word. ( )

The book has a basic story that is translated into Spanish. I liked that the images in the book they were labled in English and Spanish. There was also a color chart in the front of the book that could be used to teach the colors all of them were labeled in English and Spanish. This book could be helpful to begin an introduction to a Spanish unit or to help a bilingual student feel comfortable.
