"Dancing Wheels" by Patricia McMahon is about people with disabilities who share a passion for expressing themselves through dance. The book displays people with physical disabilities who practice to perform "The Sorcerer's Apprentices". I enjoyed the book because it shows people who have disabilities in a positive way, showing what they can do, instead of what they can not. This book shows readers that children with disabilities are the same as all children because they also have hobbies and like to have fun. ( ) Devin and Jenny are dancers for a Dance Company called the dancing wheels. Devin is a stand up dancer and Jenny is a sit down dancer. Mary Verdi-Fletcher opened the dancing wheels Dance Company because she believed in everyone, even people with disabilities, should be able to dance. Devin and Jenny work together, along with others, to perform their dance of “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”. This is a great book for children to read because it teaches them about people with disabilities. This book could also inspire children to disabilities to start doing things they thought they could not do. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
