I just kept getting annoyed with this book. I kept thinking, just grab her and run off. And I thought Marguerite should have told Callum about the Earl's proposal. Marguerite said Callum loved Scotland to much to ever leave. How could she possible know that? I found the ending very contrived. ( )

Well, this book is the 3rd book that follows 3 brothers.... Kind of strange since all 3 books revolve around the same events so you kind of already know what is going to happen. Out of all 3 books, this was my least favorite as terms of writing... She really skipped over a lot of events and then spent a lot of time on the landscape and the way a castle looked... I really had to depend on the other 2 books to keep up on the back-story. I did like the characters, although she upset me a bit by not just leaving... which she ended up doing in the end anyway. Sigh.

You definitely want to read this book last or you'd be lost as to what was going on around them...
