Ten years ago I challenged my husband to read a romance novel (this one); he has yet to finish it. It was actually a dare to my husband to get him to read a romance novel. To ensure that he would actually read it, he had to read it to me as a bedtime story. Needless to say this bet was offered sometime around 1995 and so far we have done about 30 pages if that many. To make the story interesting and hilarious my husband would substitute the written text with his own words- especially the passionate scenes. Of course, I would be laughing so hard that I could not sleep. I finally removed the novel from the bedroom just this year (2005), still unfinished. I really can't fault my dear hubby because I too find most romance novels tedious. As a teen I couldn't stop reading them. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
