Everest and and the stories of some of the early climbers, including the sherpas. It shows what one would pack for a climb and some of the techniques that a climber would use. It also highlights the dangers of climbing. Illustrated with cut paper collage, it has amazing visual appeal. I found this book to be very interesting. Talks about climbing Mt. Everest and what to expect for climbing this type of terrain. It also includes what to bring on your trip and offers great detail to the history and people living in Tibet and Nepal surrounding Mt. Everest. This book would be a great addition to teaching about the other countries in the world or introducing students to mountain climbing and what are the most popular mountains climbed in the world. I also enjoyed the illustration used throughout the book which consisted of layering a variety of different colored papers. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
