It does a great job of explaining what an antonym is, as well as giving examples. I personally liked how it gave smaller, easier words and then graduated to bigger, harder words. I think this book would be great in a 3rd-grade lesson, or even a higher grade level. ( ) Stop and Go, Yes and No is an excellent book for introducing antonym's. This book gives great examples of what anytonym's are. The pictures help tell the story and help the reader understand the book. This book is great for kindergarteners through third grade. I know students would love to join in while reading and guess the opposite words. In my opinion, this is a great informational book about antonyms. The fact the the book provides multiple examples of antonyms while rhyming will help the reader to understand. The book starts out with easy academic language by explaining that antonyms are opposites like stop and go and yes and no. It then progresses into more complicated words but the rhyming and previous comparisons between opposite words continues to make it understandable. The writing is very engaging and it flows well. The main idea of this book is about teaching what an antonym is. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
