I have used one or two of the recipes and they have worked perfectly and been delicious.
I would have given the book 5 stars, but for two things: firstly the author has always given the Cantonese name of the vegetables rather than the Mandarin name which is the standard language (Cantonese being a Chinese dialect) and that makes it difficult to ask for them by name. Secondly, although she has covered a wide range of commonly available vegetables there are several surprising omissions (kohlrabi, spring onions etc) and the list of vegetables included in the book is far from comprehensive ( )
