This is a great book that pulls early and emergent readers into the story arc of the book while also teaching them the concepts of tall, high, and up. The pages are thick and smooth which is easy to hold on to; this is especially important for the few unconventional pages (some pages have flaps that open upwards). It's a cute and engaging book that teachings more than how to read and comprehend text. ( )
