this is a great book. i was surprised that some reviewers on amazon claimed that it was too lighthearted to be worthwhile. it does have kind of a funny, easygoing tone. (for example, she advised telling family members who may be opposed to/not supportive of breastfeeding that michael jordan was breastfed and michael jackson was not.) but it also has a lot of really interesting information about the benefits of nursing and a lot of practical "how-to" tips. an important book ( )

For the most part this is a very informative and good book; however, if you are unable to exclusively breastfeed due to low milk supply or some other reason this book makes you feel very guilty. ( )
