The stroy follows Hubie as his class at school gets ready to celebrate 100s day. Hubie can't decide what to bring. Review: This book is an example of realistic fiction because schools today have a celebration for the 100th Day of School, however the characters within this story are not real. It is a weak example of fantasy because in the illustrations there are animals talking but in the story itself the animals do not talk.
