I think this is a great book to use for a starting point to talk about how the Earth changes and what whether or things cause it to change. I think this book could be used begin talking about erosion and how water changes the Earth. The age range for this book is 5-7 and the reading level is a K. The DCI that is being explored in this book is Earth and space sciences. The CCC that is being explored is stability and change because the book describes how some things on Earth happen quickly or slowly. ( )

This book has a simple and appropriate vocabulary for children and clearly explains the different changes of the earth, slow and long changes and also has diagrams that show are easy to understand, I think that by reading this book you can have a meaningful learning with regarding this topic. They will be able to express in a verbal or written way the changes in the surface of the earth.
