“Ian Taggart is a fucking assassin. He kills people.” Parnell shook his head. “That is exactly like Nelson to send a fucking assassin after me. After everything I did for him. Taggart is a piece of work. If he says he’s running a security company, it’s almost surely a cover for his real work.”

It is very cloak-and-dagger with a lot of clandestine characters. A great suspense you can really sink your teeth in.

Sean and Grace, the main characters are well defined and easy to visualize. The other characters stand out too. You can feel the different connections with all the other players in this story. They are well defined by their actions and a few well placed and important words. Never overdone and never taking away from the real story, but giving the story more dimension and depth.

It is a very steamy adult romance. A thoroughly enjoyable read on all levels!

Grace is an extraordinary secretary keeping her boss scheduled, organized and occasionally putting him to bed (platonically) after he’s had a night of drinking. She accidentally gets involved in a spy ring when she copies a confidential thumb drive.

Sean is both spy and Dominant sex player. Grace has always been interested in playing a sub but as a widow hasn’t explored the possibility. Meeting Sean turns her life upside down. Both with the danger of his job and playing his sex games.

I like romantic suspense and the storyline here had some good twists and tension.
The storyline contains erotica from the dominant submissive lifestyle and includes levels, toys and plenty of sexy hot scenes.
Sean is inconsistent between word and actions. I admired Grace in her deciding to follow her desires and her backbone in knowing her has choices.

Nice D/s story

I liked Grace as the lead female. She was fairly confident in herself and even though she's a sub, she didn't let Sean boss her around. I love that Sean cooked and was sweet to Grace. I want a viking too ;) Adam and Jake were my favorite characters. They were charming and cute and I love how they work together as a pair. The D/s was kind of light, but Grace was new to all of it and it made the story more realistic. I am looking forward to book 2! ( )

Great book.. The men that work for McKay/Taggart Security Services I'd like one of each please.. This book had it all suspense, a D's romance and smoking secondary characters that I hope all get there own book in the future. ( )
