Harvey1: Both are excellent tales, which can be enjoyed again and again. Each journey from cover to cover leads the reader into a deeper appreciation for the scope of understanding into humanity; it's flaws, foibles, and force.

I've never bothered with writing a review before, but this book really needs to be discovered.

I found a copy in a shop on the Key West waterfront. For that I am grateful because I might never have discovered it otherwise. The author, Brooke Babineau, I learned is the real deal. A real Key West author who's been there and done that, his life sounds like an adventure novel but he seems to shy away from publicity. I've heard a few rumors that more in this book, than most people would realize, really did happen. Wow! ( )

Amazing! This is one of those rare books that takes the reader for a journey of self-discovery. At each turning, in this marvelously executed labyrinth of true-to-life sequences, we are drawn deeper into a connection with the character, so much so, that the words on the page soon disappear while the movie in our minds becomes clearer.

This is more than a tale of people caught in webs of their own devise, it is an exploration of courage and cowardice, of loyalty and duplicity, and we are never quite certain which is which until the end.

Eloquently written, Babineau renders an almost poetic grace to virtually every paragraph that rivals Pat Conroy's Prince of Tides.

Oscar Wilde once said: “If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all.” I have read Below Mile Zero twice and have begun again; each time I discover deeper levels of insight into the human condition we call Life. What a joy! ( )

Key West fans will love this book. Sizzling with plot twists and cool characters, it will make you want to fix yourself a margarita, grab a hat, and settle back in your beach chair.

Guaranteed to keep the reader up all night. I hope to see this on the big screen one day, as it's made for a major movie!

'Couldn't put it down! 'Was late for work 'cause I had to finish it. Then I lent the book to my friend, and I can't wait to get it back, so I can read it again. I want more from this author!

Talk about pushing all the buttons. Warning! once you start you won't want to put it down, and at 400-plus pages forget about television.
