They are considered to be windstorms. They start out beging white and turn to black and gray when they hit the ground. The direction a tornado twists depends on the hemispheree in which it is located in. On average, there are 800 tornados a year. This book also includes many facts about hurricanes. This is a very good book. I really enjoy the way it is set up. My only problem is due to the copyright date I am sure that many information this books contains should be updated. I would definetly have this book in my library to compare to newer updated books. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
