The writing was compelling and I really wanted to read more about these two. There was a love scene in here that was incredibly touching (actually made me tear-up). We traditionally think of romance books as written by "females" only, but Josh Lanyon has illustrated that a man can write just as good a love story. In fact, i would say that Mr. Lanyon is far better than other female authors. I will certainly look up more from this author.
Growing up in rural Texas, Mitchell Evans's ambition to be a dancer made him a target. Though he found success in New York City, Mitch is at a crossroads, and heads home for the first time in twelve years to figure things out. When what appears to be a reindeer jumps out in front of his car, he drives off the road and into the path of the one man he hoped to avoid. The last person Texas Ranger Web Eisley expects to see four days before Christmas is his first love. He hasn't seen Mitch since they quarreled over coming out to their friends and family years ago. Though he's not in the closet now, Web has worked hard for the respect of his fellow officers, but he still regrets the loss of Mitch in his life. And his bed. The attraction between them is as strong as ever, and it doesn't take long for the men to pick up where they left off. But is love enough to keep Mitch in town in the New Year? 26,000 words No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

Mitch Evans left his small Texas town twelve hears ago after not only arguing with best friend and boyfriend Web Eisley about coming out, then then further arguing with his own father when he did come out, at least at home. The issues with the father were exacerbated by the fact that Mitch wanted to be a professional ballet dancer. After that fateful night twelve years ago, he left town and never returned...until now.
Mitch has achieved his dreams, for the most part. He is a somewhat successful Ballet dancer. He returns home to settle some of his father's estate after his death, and because he's at something of a crossroads. He doesn't expect the first person to to be Web Eisley, who's now a Texas Ranger.
This story, for the most part has two men dealing with their own communication issues, and Mitch trying to decide what he really wants.
I enjoyed it overall, even if everything wasn't completely ironed out in the end, you had the feeling it would eventually get there. ( )
