I loved this book! Its about a little girl who is growing plants in her class and her enemy gets sick and can't take care of it so she does.

This story does a good job with connecting with kids about their hard work being acknowledged and how that helps their self confidence and their value of themselves. Rosie's plant may not have grown as fast as all of her classmates, but she was still proud of her work and the growth of her plant.

52 months - love this story! We are all special in our own way. ( )

Rosie is jealous of her classmate Violet because everybody likes her. While Violet is out with the chicken pox, Rosie can make the decision to either let Rosie's plant die or take care of it. She makes the right choice and is praised by her teacher.
