This book, like all the books I've seen in the "Galactic Encounters" series, appears to be a less than impressive story used to justify the inclusion of some pretty impressive artwork.

Although the pictures are all s/f themed it is relatively obvious that they were not originally intended to go together. I rate the books in this series more as interesting collections of random art than as great works of literature.
