It shows children how scientists used inspirations from nature to create innovations. Tying science to nature would be a good way to inspire children to get involved in science. For instance, they created a robot called a “stickybot” that looked and acted like a gecko. The robot could climb up the sides of walls. It was also informational and tied science to personal safety. Such as using the way dolphins communicate underwater to develop a better Tsunami warning system. The book also tied in everyday devises we use to the study of nature. For instance a blue bird really isn’t blue but it looks that way because of the way its wings reflect light. Scientists used this information to make cell phones that are as bright out in the sunlight as they are inside. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
