Read a number of these graphic novels dealing with the Green Lantern all at once. It turns out, I am extremely ambivalent towards the Green Lantern. The stories about the Green Lantern just feel like a bits and pieces of other super hero stories combined with some attempt to make emotion the center of everything. Didn't hate it, just didn't love.

Artwork pretty good, just the stories not very memorable or interesting. ( )

The Guardians. A bunch of straight laced, emotionless dudes who are sort of in charge of the Green Lantern Corps.

Well, one of the Guardians who was there at the beginning, Krona, has gone sorta around the bend. I'm not sure exactly why he's doing, well, any of what he's doing-- it never totally gets explained, even at the end (and the very end I didn't see coming at all), but needless to say it turns into the four Earth Green Lanterns (sometimes wearing other colored rings) vs. the rest of the Green Lantern Corps.

The art was okay. It was cool seeing the Lanterns in their human clothes as well.

Also John Stewart is my favorite Green Lantern and there was a lot of him in this TPB which was great. More Lantern Stewart is always a good thing. ( )
