This book was a good read. I enjoyed reading how Tucker wanted to make things better for his family. When I was growing up I had dreams just like him. I would recommend this book for anyone who relates to Tucker's situations. He had patience caring for his special needs brother while his mom was away at work. I really liked how he focused on helping his mom and brother rather than just thinking about himself. ( )

The adventures of Beanboy was simply amazing. There were so many core principles that used in the story that could also transfer into the real world. From Tucker being so patient with his little brother, to the backstory on Sam, even the struggles of being a single parent, everything was simply incredible. It was a beautiful story that I think students in middle school could relate to. I think that this story could spark some very interesting and meaningful conversations. ( )
