( ) Volume two of Amnesia Labyrinth continues the creepy horror mystery story begun in the first volume without slowing any. The mystery builds, the uncomfortable incestuous relations go on unabated, and there is even a curse from long ago thrown into the plot. A twin brother appears, but he may be a ghost, or maybe he's just one of several personalities of the main character, who finds himself unable to remember the events of certain days - including one where yet another student is murdered. What exactly is going on? This second book in the series does very little to answer the questions first shown in the previous book. With luck, it is all moving towards a strong and satisfying conclusion in the third installment. Unfortunately, the artwork doesn't have the same quality as the narrative. While it does fairly well at matching the creepy mood by using strong black and white lines without screentones for shading, it has problems with clarity. On the one hand, the scene with the twin brothers is probably supposed to be confusing, so not being able to tell exactly what is going on during it is a good thing - but not being able to figure out where it takes place or what exactly is happening immediately before and after isn't so great. Plus, the characters continue to look different from panel to panel, while others are almost indistinguishable despite being different people. There is also a lack of sophistication in the way faces are drawn from different angles that makes them look, well, unfortunately deformed. On the whole, I enjoy this story and look forward to seeing how it resolves, but I really wish the artist would improve, or a new artist would redo the series. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
