This story talks about a little girls daily, moment by moment ideas of what she wants to be; a mermaid, a pirate etc. She is visiting her aunt that pretends to be all of the characters that the little girl has displayed and acted out before. At the end of the story, the little girl only really wants to be herself today. This book is fictional. The media displayed is drawings with pencil and markers with some water colors. This book was really cute and had a really cute message. The message was to be yourself. This little girl Imogen is hanging out with her Auntie Sara, and while playing Auntie Sara asks who Imogen wants to be today and after all these choices, Imogen says "today i just want to be... ME!" After saying that her and Auntie Sara and they do everything Imogen wants to do. It is ok to be yourself and be different. This book was super cute, and I loved the illustrations. They were very detailed and gave a sense of fun and color. This book is great for a younger group, 4+. It has a young feel to the illustrations and has a basic concept for the young readers to grasp. This book is about a little girl and her aunt playing pretend together and deciding what to be. In the end this little girl decides today she wants to be just herself. I will implement this book multiple times in my curriculum. It has a great message for children to feel good about who they are. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
