As a step in the series, it's got some important continuity points. I doubt I'll reread except as part of the series. Faith is - well, I have trouble with several aspects of her. Her utter absorption in her work seems unlikely - not impossible but...she has _no_ interests outside her work? Doesn't ring true. Similarly, why should hypnotized Faith act sexually differently? Given that the hypnotic triggers were set up before she was 10...doesn't make sense. It's an Independence Day sort of logic - the story carries you along, but if you stop to think about any aspect of it, the logic collapses. And they spend the entire book agonizing about how they can possibly make it work, between her peripatetic career and his deep roots - and then he just totally gives in, he'll go with her. Makes all that agonizing pointless. Nothing much wrong with the story, but nothing much right either - this isn't one I'll particularly look forward to reading when I reread the series. But it's not bad enough to skip (as I will two others in this series). ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
