Waking up is Hard to Do is about waking up in the morning to the beautiful sun and the morning birds. This book gives children the idea that morning time is peaceful and calm. Even though there is no specific plot I like the simple fact of starting you day off in a good, positive way. The beginning of the story the dinosaur is tired and sleepy and groggy when he has to wake up but as he walks around his house everything is beautiful around him which by the end of the story puts him into a good mood.
