A nice companion book to this awesome Spike Jonze short film. I think this film book though gets at more of Spike Jonze's style of creation, at least for this quick side project. It took him 5 years to do Where the Wild Things Are, and this only took a couple weeks to shoot. The DVD comes with the book and there is even a soundtrack CD too. This is a perfect multi media project for McSweeney's to do given the unique relationship that McSweeney's has with Jonze. The DVD has some filming notes and some interesting scenes from creating the robot outfits. The soundtrack has a new take on an Of Montreal song and a few other cool tracks from Gui Barrato and Sleigh Bells and Girls. ( )
