I liked this series so much I'd finish one book and do the one-click thing at Amazon to download the next. Great world building. Characters that grow up and learn from their life experiences. I love that the heroine swears but the author doesn't spell out the words, just says she is swearing. That adds flavor without having to read the dreary old swear words. She is also chronically late and can't budget worth a darn but she's out saving the world, as best she can. That's the best part, she's not immortal or perfect but comes to find out that doing your best in a bad situation really means something. Really great fantasy. No swear words or sex so anyone can read it. ( )
