The Guild Hunter series has a really interesting story arc to it. I find all of the character's to be very intriguing even the ones that I hate. Nalini Singh can always be trusted to write a series that has engaging characters and a full and fascinating story. ( )

This one we get Sara Haziz story. She is a human-born Guild Hunter who later becomes the Guild Director for America. Before she becomes the Director she is sent on a mission and tested by the Archangel’s - The Cadre. But, she’s not alone. Yummy, Deacon is at her side. He’s their to offer protection and to help Sarah on her mission.

It's action-packed and gritty. I loved every moment of it. They are hunting one of their own, a Guild Hunter who may or may not have gone off the deep end. Sarah uses her mind along with her crossbow to her advantage. Deacon was a amazing. He does his job well, but he can also be light and funny. The chemistry was off the charts with these two and those love scenes, steamy.

Angels’ Judgement was a treat. It was wonderful to see Sarah and Deacon become lovers. This novella was perfect. Their is action, danger, blood, and romance.

Angels' Judgment I read in the Must Love Hellhounds anthology. Although I'm not familiar with Ms. Singh's Guild Hunters universe, she put in enough background information for the novice. As with Ms. Harris' story, the background info came naturally. These archangels are most emphatically Not Nice. The story is also a murder mystery as well as a romance (for prospective Guild Director Sara Haziz). It's one of the suspects who has the hellhound. She doesn't get much action here, but the big, black doggie is definitely loved. We also get to find out another way being turned into a vampire can go wrong in this universe. Potential vampire candidates might be willing to risk insanity for immortality, but would they be willing to risk Rodney's fate? 5 stars. ( )

Another great story, this one was about the Hunter's Guild. The Hunters are the guys and gals, who keep the supernatural side of the world from spilling over violently into the Human world.

Sara and Deacon were similar yet so different. Both bad-asses, but while Sara is more social Deacon was more of a solitary soul. Understandable with what his Hunter responsibilities include. Loved how their story came together, can't wait to see how it will add to the series as it continues. ( )
