Summary: This Book is a very cute book. This book is about an elephant who is talking to a piggy about birds that have landed on his head. Soon there is two birds on his head and then they have eggs that are in a nest on his head. Soon after the three eggs hatch the elephant politely asked the birds to leave under the suggestion of the piggy. The birds kindly said ok and found a new home for their nest on the piggy’s head. This book explains the concept that it always could get worse, but the bad times will never last forever.

Personal Review: This book would be a great ice breaker book in the classroom setting. This book was fun to read to my two-year-old! He laughed throughout the entire book and this will be book that we must add to our personal collection at home.

Classroom Extensions: I would have the students write an essay on a day that they had that wasn't so good and how the day ended up better. ( )
