Diverse Reading Challenge

This group was inspired by K. Tempest Bradford's challenge to avoid reading straight white cisgender male authors for one year. It is open to anyone attempting a version of this challenge, broadly considered as increasing the fraction of non-default authors you read in one or more of your preferred genres - you do not have to cut out "default" authors altogether in order to participate. You may want to participate only for the fiction you read, or strive for less than half of the authors you read to be white regardless of gender, or another variation.

This group is invitation-only and join-to-post to keep out trolls who only want to criticize the legitimacy of the challenge. There are many fora in which you can do that. This is not one of them. If you want an invitation please request one.
