Lancashire inspires us everyday.

The landscapes, the people, the food, the industry and the architecture.

But the Red Rose county has also been the root and heart of many famous stories for mostrar más centuries from some of the world's most famous authors, such as Charles Dickens and George Orwell.

And over the border Cumbria-based author Beatrix Potter and Cockermouth-born William Wordsworth have also been inspired to write some of the most popular, imaginative and timeless story-writing in literary history.
