- Biografía breve
- Princess Louise of Prussia was the daughter of Prince Augustus Ferdinand of Prussia and his wife Elisabeth Louise, Margravine of Brandenburg-Schwedt. Her paternal uncle was Frederick the Great. In 1796, she married Prince Anton Radziwill, a Polish-Lithuanian nobleman. It was a love match; Radziwill was a Catholic and not considered to be the princess's equal in rank by the Prussian royal family and high society. However, the couple became popular for their patronage of music and social causes. They had seven children, one of whom was Princess Elisa Radziwill, who wanted to marry the future German Emperor Wilhelm I but was denied because her father was not a reigning prince.
